Staff
Friendly, Professional, & Knowledgeable
DreamCatcher Farm is run by Carol Bisaillon and her husband Daryl Martin. Carol started riding when she was only eight years old. By the age of 16, she had begun instructing younger students and found a passion for helping and coaching riders. After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelors of Arts (Honours) degree in Sociology and Organizational Behaviour, she moved into the small business world, working as a manager for three veterinary clinics. From her work, she gained valuable advanced equine care knowledge and experience in running a successful small business. In 2000, she decided to pursue her dream of opening an equestrian centre which would offer programs for competitive and recreational riders as well as enrichment programs for the non-riders.
The facility currently offers a wide variety of programs including an extensive lesson and training program, horse boarding, horse development and sales, leasing and a renowned camp program. The farm is also host to a variety of events, shows and clinics each year. Each year, new programs are introduced while existing programs are expanded. Carol has obtained her Level 2 coaching status with Equine Canada and her Level 1 in Horse Boy Method. She is currently training for her Coach Specialist and Equine Assisted Therapy certifications, so that she can further expand her skills, knowledge, and business offerings.
