Summer Camp 2026

Offering 5 weeks of our popular Summer Camp program with new and improved programming, additional riding time and smaller group sizes and less overall campers per week!
Our summer camp program provides a wonderful experience for campers to learn how to ride or enhance their technical skills if they already know how to ride. The program is comprised of two options: Regular and Extreme. The Regular camp program offers a broad overview of horse care theory and practical horsemanship techniques. The Extreme option is more intense and focused on improving the technical skills of each rider.  Campers choosing the Extreme option should be able to ride independently at the walk and trot. 

In both programs, campers are divided into groups based on age and experience level. Campers receive daily riding sessions to develop and improve their skills. The other portions of the day are dedicated to fun activities which develop practical horsemanship knowledge. To ensure that campers receive an enriched experience with maximum adherence to safety, campers are supervised with a ratio of 3:1 camper to experienced counsellor.

*Riders must be ages 6 years old and above.

Enhanced Horsemanship Option

We offer at no additional cost campers can be dropped off early  and picked up late to accommodate parents’ schedules. During this time, campers can enhance their learning while helping with our daily horse care and management. Camp drop off and pick form is sent out the week prior to camp in which you can opt into this program.

Our Summer Camp Program Includes But Is Not Limited To:

  • One assigned horse or pony for the week.
  • Equine assisted enrichment sessions
  • Twice daily coached riding lessons
  • Off horse riding skills development
  • Off horse training with Rookie Rider program

March Break Intensive Camp

March 16th – 20th, 9 – 3 pm

Cost $565 ($500 plus HST)

** Register early – very limited space

Daily program includes:

  • Two riding lessons per day
  • Campers are assigned a horse or pony for the week
  • Pony training program each day
  • Lunge session
  • Equitation Science theory session
  • Practical Horsemanship session
  • Barn projects

Our March Break Camp Program is designed for all levels of riders. The program is designed to teach and enhance camper’s technical skills with 2 extended lessons per day. Campers will be divided into groups depending on age and level of experience.

Enhanced Horsemanship Option
We offer, at no additional charge, an option for campers to be dropped off early between 7:30 am – 9 am. During this time, campers can enhance their learning while helping with our horse care and management.

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS DreamCatcher Farm, their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“Releasees”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

I acknowledge and understand that like most sports, riding is not without risk. A rider may fall, and the possibility of injury, including disablement or death exists. I further agree to assume all risks involved in using the land, equipment, vehicles, horses and facilities of DreamCatcher Farm.
